How to Make Money in Lagos Life
Money in Lagos Life comes down to three things: which job you pick, how many hours you put in, and whether that clears rent. Here's the short version, then the numbers.

Start here: the job decides your week
Two players work the same number of shifts and end up with different money. The difference is the job.
Every job pays a fixed amount per shift. A shift runs a set number of hours, and that length changes from job to job. Your week is the rate times the shifts you put in.
So two numbers decide your money before anything else: what the job pays per shift, and how long that shift runs. The only way to compare two jobs fairly is to do the math on both.
The jobs players report

Shifts, hours, and what they add up to
A shift isn't a day. Know how long yours runs before you compare rates — that mismatch is where people get their math wrong.
hours per shift × shifts per week × rate = your week
The rent math
Rent comes due at the end of the week. So does your rent. If your week doesn't clear it, no amount of hustle fixes it — you need a better rate.
Weekly rent ≈ ₦1,200–₦1,500,000 by area

What moves the number fastest
- Change the job, not the hours.
- Two half shifts don't beat one full shift.
- Rent sets the bar, not ambition.
